We wanted everyone to be able to afford a pair of speakers that any studio owner would be proud of placing in their arsenal and we believe we have managed just that.
With its compact design it has amazing stereo imaging that allows you to pinpoint all the instruements or sounds between the speakers with surgical precision and detail.
All of this combined makes for an truly enjoyable expirience
All our speakers are handbuilt to perfection at our facilities in Skagaströnd , Iceland.
Design
The pair functions as a master/slave , the slave is essentially a normal passive speaker but when connected to the master through the speakON cable it will be taken over by the master unit making it an active pair of speakers.
The cabined features the same heavily braced medium density fiber construction as the Sigyn
with three individual compartments that contribute to the tuning of the speaker, the port is placed downwards in the compartment farthest away from the drivers.
This enables you to position the speakers close to a wall while significantly reducing
the boost in the low frequency area.
It comes with a built in amp with that we spent countless hours dialing in the perfect presets.
Wool we are one of the very few select to use the natural substitute in mass manufacturing of speakers and we believe it's the better alternative in reducing standing waves and improving midrange capabilities.
Týr features a built in amp with 4 presets that we spent countless hours finetuning to perfection for optimum sonic performance and accuracy with great bass extension which is essential for checking what lies beneath.
The 4 included presets allow for minor changes to account for diffrent user rooms of operation.
The amp comes with an automatic on/off sensor that automaticly powers the amp down when not in use and will power itself back on when it's introduced to an audio signal almost instantaneously.
Týr uses balanced xlr cables for the input channel and speakON connector from the master to the slave.
